MU was one of the original fourteen universities selected in 1989 to develop a program established by the U.S. Department of Education and named for astronaut and Challenger crew member Ronald E. McNair, The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program.

Additional Resources:

Upwards of 200 graduate schools waive application fees for McNair Scholars, and a growing number offer fellowships. These application incentives are excellent advantages of being a McNair Scholar.

The MU Fellowships Office provides information on how to obtain prestigious fellowships from across the world. We recommened that all McNair Scholars, and all those considering the McNair Program, look into this office and set up and appointment.
