- Per the U.S. Department of Education scholars must qualify as either:
- a first-generation college student and meet federal income guidelines as defined by the U.S. Department of Education and/or
- be a member of a group that is underrepresented in graduate education as defined in § 647.7.
- Have a minimum of 60 hours of course work.
- The program is open to, juniors, and seniors starting in the fall semester.
- Transfer students are also eligible to apply
- Have a 2.8 minimum cumulative GPA by the end of the most recent semester, typically the fall.
